Dear fans and friends,

I’m happy to update you on the progress of my ongoing Belle Époque series of brush and ink portraits. I recently added iconic Spanish poet, Federico García Lorca’s portrait to the series and that in turn has inspired portraits of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, electrical engineering genius Nikola Tesla, and venerated American writer Ernest Hemingway. I am also adding a new portrait of Auguste Rodin to the series as well. All are ready to be inked and will be completed in the coming weeks. I’m nearing the halfway mark of the project and I hope to have all 36 portraits completed this May. These drawings are proving to be some the finest brush and ink drawings I’ve ever produced and I look forward to sharing them with you as soon as they are finished and scanned. My eventual goal is to see these portraits turned into a card set with accompanying biographical text on the back of each card. Selected images in the series will eventually be offered as limited edition prints as well. I’m very excited to be producing this body of work and share it with you over time. Keep an eye out for it, it’s going to be fabulous. The best is yet to come!
