It is assumed that anyone inquiring about commissioning the artist for original work does so with the understanding that the artist will execute the work in the same style and manner as the work appearing on this website. The artist will consider some suggestions in regards to the commissioned work but, generally shies away from art direction of any kind. A select number of commissions will be considered depending on the artist’s schedule. Commissions are generally executed within a period of 120 days from date of acceptance and will require a 50% non refundable deposit upon acceptance of commission. The client will also be required to sign a standard Artist’s Reserved Rights Transfer and Sale Agreement  before the work can be started (click here to view agreement). The artist retains all copyrights to commissioned work.

     The price of the commission will be based upon size and medium. Please go to our store section to see a general price range on original drawings and paintings. Media used by the artist are: pencil, pen and ink, and watercolor. Paintings are usually mixed media, and are done in pen and ink, watercolor and various other media. All work is done on paper or illustration board. Sizes exceeding 10″x15″ will require an additional amount of time that will be specified by the artist at the time of acceptance. Framing and matting are the responsibility of the client. Insurance and shipping are extra and not part of the commission price. Any payments made through PayPal will be subject to an additional 3% of the price. If you do not live in the United States, please indicate this in the initial contact via email.
